I learned that I had a real gift for expressing myself with the written word when I would get A+s on my essays back in college. My peers would be struggling with what to write about, how to write it and the deadline they were under. I wasn't super stressed or concerned about anything other than the quality of my work.
Many professors complimented me on my work. It didn't dawn on me that I could make a living with my writing skills until I heard several celebrities speak about how acting or singing is what they love to do and they can't imagine doing anything else. I feel the same way about writing.
Writing is my happy place, my comfort zone and my super power all rolled up into one.
I treat each project as if it were for my business, and put a lot of value on the messages you want expressed to represent yours. How the messages are presented to consumers is just as important as the messages themselves.
To me, words are tools that are used to set the content's tone, and tell a story, creating a feeling about your business, your products and/or services.
Emotions and storytelling are the undercurrent of all our buying decisions, whether we realize it or not.
The marketplace is saturated with identical products and services.
What I do is create brand identity and loyalty via the written word, capturing the heart of your audience.
I focus on writing quality content and proofreading/editing your content so you can look your best in front of your leads and customers.
I respect deadlines and understand that you are entrusting me with projects that we both want to result in a positive impact on your business. I use my creativity with words and sentence structure to produce high-quality written products.
My background in psychology (Bachelor and Master degrees) helps me to understand the goals businesses have related to attracting customers and creating brand loyalty. I have a passion for research and learning. If I lack knowledge about a certain topic, I seek out reputable resources to learn more about it.
There is no industry that I know better than the pet industry. Also, there has always been at least one pet in my life since I was born.
My pet-passion results in excelling in a niche market where your business reaps the rewards. Or should I say treats? Hey, that got you to sit up and pay attention!
